MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Monday, May 21st, 2012 @ 6:30 pm
Raymond Library, 840 Main St. E. Hartford, CT 06108
PRESENT: Florence Schroeter, Rose Tavtigian, Pat Jones, Librarian, Tony Foran, Esther Clarke, and Charles Casella
ABSENCES: Lisa McMahon, Gloria Visgilio-Lupi, and Debra Arrieta
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of April 16th, 2012 meeting were approved with the following amendment. Florence Schroeter was among those that appeared before the Town Council in support of the Library Addition.
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT
The Librarian reported on the Library Addition progress, noting that in the interest of cost savings and safety, library services will be relocated during construction.
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The Chairman reported that the Town is interested in securing a grant from the State Library for replacement of mechanicals and replacement of the flat roof on the existing Library.
